St. Margaret Mary Catholic Parish is seeking a hard-working, intuitive, self-starter individual to serve as maintenance person for our Church and School facilities. This individual will be responsible for servicing various physical and mechanical aspects of the facility. They must possess own basic tools and basic mechanical knowledge with common sense. They must be able to climb ladders and work in high or small spaces. Regular janitorial is necessary. Much of the job is becoming familiar with the systems and knowing which contractor to contact for major repairs. Candidates need experience or familiarity with many or all of the following:
Mechanical Systems: HVAC trouble-shooting abilities. HVAC repair not required, but helpful.
Small Engine Maintenance
Wall Repair and Painting: Knowledge of woodwork or sheetrock for light repairs or upgrade is desirable.
Flooring Repair: Removal and CVT installation
Irrigation: Irrigation head and piping replacement
Plumbing: Fixture repair and servicing drains
Electrical Systems: Switching off and on breakers, finding faults, changing bulbs. Commercial wiring experience not necessary, but desirable.
Custodial: Familiar with proper chemicals for usage of floor and facility cleaning. Be able to run scrubbing machines for removable of wax and apply wax to floors.

Come learn about the Theology of the Hammer. Come and join with fellow parishioners, and others, as we build a Habitat for Humanity home this July during the Diocese of Wichita 2019 Apostle Build. Swing a hammer and discover it is a tool that manifests God’s love. Swing a hammer and give real hope to a real family in real need. Who knew that theology could be so easy and so much fun? Construction begins on July 18. Volunteers, those 16 years old and older, are needed to help build the house. The work days are Wednesday – Saturday 7:30am – 3:00pm. If you are not comfortable building, how about providing lunch and snacks to our build volunteers? The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) was established to ensure that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. Free meals, that meet Federal nutrition guidelines, are provided to all children 18 years old and under at approved SFSP sites in areas with significant concentrations of low-income children. SoulCore is a movement that combines core strengthening, stretching and functional exercises with the prayers of the rosary: a sensory experience combining candlelight, music, scripture, reflections, and movement to nourish body, mind and soul and encourage deeper meditation on the mysteries and virtues of the rosary.
The Summer Weights and Conditioning program at Bishop Carroll has been designed to meet the needs of all athletes competing in all sports. This program is designed to enhance speed, quickness, strength, endurance, and agility. The Summer Weights Program will run four days a week (Monday-Thursday) offering three sessions daily for high school students and one for junior high students. Student athletes can attend any session that meets their time schedule and conditioning needs. Students are able to switch groups on a daily basis depending on their summer schedule.

St. John’s Catholic Church in Clonmel will be hosting an ongoing event called Brewing the Faith on Friday evenings this summer, an opportunity to have your questions about the faith answered and have a little fun! Brewing the Faith starts on Friday, May 31st at 7:00 pm and continues each week. We will meet in front of the rectory under the big shade trees - bring a lawn chair and beverage of your choice. Each week we’ll discuss a different topic with time for additional questions you may have. All ages and faith backgrounds are welcome, with opportunity for the kids to play throughout the night - so invite your family, friends, and neighbors!
