Girl Scouts

Mission Statement

Guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, to nurture girls' courage, confidence and character who grow in faith, live out the virtues, and joyfully serve others to make the world a better place.

About

This troop is for girls born in 2020 who meet every other Tuesday from 6:15 – 7:15pm in Dominic Hall. The Girl Scouts organization functions as a leadership and personal development program for girls, helping them grow into confident, capable and compassionate individuals. Through a wide range of activities - including outdoor adventures, STEM projects, community service, life skills training and entrepreneurship - Girl Scouts learn to set goals, work as a team and make a positive impact in their communities. Girls earn badges and awards as they build skills and take on challenges that promote responsibility, initiative and leadership. The troop integrates faith into their experiences by participating in religious programs, service rooted in Catholic social teaching, and spiritual development through prayer and reflection. Girl Scouts provide a safe, supportive environment for girls to discover their strengths, serve others and grow in character.
