Totus Tuus (Latin for “Totally Yours”) is a week long parish summer catechetical program for Catholic youth in the 1-12th grades. It is dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through evangelization, catechesis, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship.
Totus Tuus instructs young people in the basic tenets of the Catholic faith to cultivate both a firm intellectual grounding and a solid personal relationship with Christ. Totus Tuus encourages young people to begin discerning God’s call in their life to be married, a priest, a religious, or single.
Totus Tuus demonstrates that one can be a faithful, practicing Catholic and still have fun! Totus Tuus is usually the first week in June - watch the bulletin for information. Please encourage your children to join us and experience what Totus Tuus is all about. Registration form and general information can be found under documents. All participants must be registered to attend.
We want to thank everyone who helped make Totus Tuus a huge success last week. Thank you to the nearly 200 youth who participated-we hope you had a great week and we hope to see you again next year! Thank you to the families who hosted team members and provided their meals-we are grateful for your gifts of hospitality. We also want to thank the many volunteers, whose gift of time helped make the week run so smoothly. A big thank you to the Totus Tuus teachers for their dedication to evangelization and for sharing their enthusiasm for the faith with our youth. We also want to thank the St. Peter Altar Society for providing paper goods for the week-we appreciate their support. And to our Knights of Columbus-thank you for the generous donation that makes Totus Tuus possible for the youth of our parish. Your gift of treasure is much appreciated! Again, many thanks to everyone who had a hand in making Totus Tuus such a great week for our youth. Have a great summer!-Lisa Munn, TT Coordinator
