CHURCH CLEANING

Church Cleaning volunteers do light cleaning of the sanctuary on Saturday and Monday. Time spent is usually around one hour. Most volunteers serve at least twice a year. This ministry is quiet and unseen and can be a prayerful experience, working in the real presence of God.

Carpentry/Paint reflects the skills of St. Joseph by providing carpentry and painting services where needed.

Licensed electricians are always needed to volunteer their specialized skills to help maintain our facilities and keep our parish burning bright. Volunteers who specialize in voice, data and communications are also needed to help St. Peter’s stay on the cutting edge of technology.

Plumbers skills are needed to help with maintenance and to keep things running smoothly.

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

Grounds Maintenance oversees the maintenance of the lawn mowing equipment and organizes the volunteers for mowing, trimming and edging of the entire parish grounds (except the ball fields). Volunteers are always needed.

PARISH OFFICE ASSISTANTS

Parish Office Assistants serve the parish by helping the office staff with mailings, copying, data entry, phone inquiries and other clerical tasks that may arise. This ministry is enjoyable, flexible, weekday hours and offers the opportunity to become more acquainted with the day-to-day activities of the parish community. Talents needed are accuracy, general knowledge of the parish and a welcoming attitude. For more information, contact:
