Yay! It’s April and spring is finally in the air! I hope everyone had a great Spring and  Easter break. This will be a very busy month but rewarding with a field trip!

Classroom Notes:

AR- This month our goal will be 5 AR tests passed with an 80% or higher. 

Tanganyika- We will be going to Tanganyika on April 19, More information to come this Friday the 6th.

Fact Fluency: We have started a school wide fluency enrichment program called Stop, Drop and Roll. As an entire school we work on our fact fluency for 5 minutes at random times. Ask your student about it!

 

Mad Minute: We will also start Mad Minute test on Fridays from here until May. Please continue to practice fact fluency at home with flash cards, white boards and our XtraMath program. 20+ math facts in a minute is a good benchmark for 1st grade in March.
